Anthony Martial netted thrice in his last two games whereas his fellow teammate & the highest paid player of the Premier League, Alexis Sanchez is unable to find his place in the Starting XI.

Anthony Martial has really found his form for Manchester United while reports suggest that Alexis Sanchez has told his agent to find him a new Club. Both Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez for the longest time, have been assumed to be players that can’t do well under Jose Mourinho and like the likes of Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne, should ditch the Portuguese Manager in order to unlock their true Potential. This statement is probably true for Sanchez, not so much for Anthony Martial. The 22-Year-Old Frenchman really seems to have found top form in recent games, scoring against Newcastle United in a 3-2 win as well as against Chelsea in a thrilling 2-2 Draw. On the other hand, Alexis Sanchez has been abysmal under Mourinho, making only 5 appearances for the Club with a Goal and an Assist to show for the £500,000 a week salary.

Change in play key to Martial’s Success?

One evidently noticeable change Jose Mourinho made in the Second-Half against Chelsea was unleashing his forwards and giving them the freedom to express themselves. The Likes of Lukaku, Rashford, Martial, and Mata seemed to have lesser defensive duties and it looked like Mourinho just wanted them to concentrate on the attacking aspect of the game. This really seemed to Benefit Anthony Martial who broke all his Shackles as he scored a wonderful brace that impressed the fans and Pundits alike.

There was a lot of speculation surrounding Anthony Martial and Jose Mourinho as the Club fined the Player when he went to visit his newborn baby. Reports suggested that Martial had fallen out of favour at United and a Transfer seemed inevitable, three months later and martial is banging goals in and their relationship seems absolutely fine. The Frenchman himself cleared the air “Come on, things were not tense between us, to begin with. We have a player-coach relationship and I hope that we will continue like that and bring Manchester United as much as possible.”

The Sanchez Debacle

Despite scoring the last minute winner against Newcastle United a fortnight ago, Alexis Sanchez, according to the Daily Mail is pushing for a move away from Manchester United. The Chile International completed a swap Transfer from Arsenal just Nine months ago with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way. Sanchez Reportedly earns £500,000 Pounds a week but due to a lack of game time and bad performances has reportedly told his agent to find him another Club.

Even if Sanchez finds a Club willing to sign him up, it is highly unlikely that the said Club will match his wage at Manchester United.
