Spanish international Paco Alcacer has signed for the German club Borussia Dortmund on a season-long loan. After spending two years at Camp Nou, the Spanish striker has sought a move away for more playing time.
After having signed for FC Barcelona from Valencia, Alcacer has made 51 appearances in which he has scored 15 goals for the Catalan club. Further, the striker’s inspired performance in the La Liga encounter against Sevilla led Barcelona to a 2-1 victory.
The Spaniard joined Barcelona, after sparkling performance at Mestalla with Valencia. Further, the striker was promoted as skipper after having spent his youth career at the club.
However, when Barcelona came calling for Alcacer, he joined the Catalans for a fee of 30 million euros. Now the former Valencia man has joined Borussia Dortmund in a 2 million dollar loan move.

“We are very happy that Paco Alcacer has decided in favor of Borussia Dortmund and we firmly believe that this type of player fits well with our way of playing,” said Zorc after Alcacer was signed by Dortmund.
