Manchester United are off to a flier in the Champions League as they beat Swiss Giant BSC Young Boys 0-3 in their opening Group H Game. It was captain Paul Pogba who had the most impact, the Frenchman scored a brace for United in the first half tipping the game in their favor of United which was important considering BSC Young created a few chances in the first Half that could’ve easily changed the scoreline. Anthony Martial sealed the win with a Second Half Goal as Manchester United took all 3 points from a good night in Switzerland.

United started the game pretty poorly and looked shaky in defense. If it wasn’t for Chris Smalling and the Goalkeeping Messi, David De Gea I think it’s safe to say that United would’ve conceded. Swiss Forward Christian Fassnacht looked especially dangerous and troubled the United defenders with his skill and potency. Despite not having the best of halves, World Cup Winner, Paul Pogba put United in the Lead in the 35th Minute with an exquisite finish from 16 yards that plummeted into the top corner making it impossible for BSC Keeper David von Ballmoos to save.
Pogba added the second goal nine minutes later as United won a penalty. BSC’s Kevin Mbabu was penalized for having deliberately put a hand to Luke Shaw’s cross, a Controversial decision for many. Pogba stepped up and made his trademark slow run-up to the ball and tucked the ball into the right corner despite the keeper getting a hand to it.
Pogba turned creator-in-chief in the Second-Half as he found compatriot Anthony Martial on the left flank with a slick pass as the Frenchman put the ball in the back of the net with a little help from the keeper who got a good deflection on it. Juan Mata was lively when he came on and came excruciatingly close to scoring, but it didn’t really matter as Manchester United had sealed the 3 points.
