Manchester United travel to Bern, Switzerland to take on Swiss Super League team BSC Young Boys in their opening Group H Champions League fixture. United seem to have put all their troubles behind them after an impressive 2-1 win over Watford and Jose Mourinho’s men will be eager to start their Champions League campaign with a positive result in Switzerland. The Hosts, BSC have made a perfect start to their domestic League campaign, winning all of their first six games. So Manchester United cannot afford to take the Swiss giants lightly.

BSC Young Boys: The Swiss side will, unfortunately, miss out on their young prodigal midfielder Jordan Lotomba who is out with a knee injury, Sandro Lauper is also ruled out with an ankle injury. Full-back Miralem SulejmanI has returned from injury
Predicted XI: von Ballmoos, Mbabu, von Bergen, Camara, Benito; Fassnacht, Sanogo, Sow, Suljemani; Hoarau, Assale
Manchester United: Marcus Rashford and Nemanja Matic are serving domestic bans but will most likely start in Switzerland. Luke Shaw has recovered from a concussion suffered in the International Break against Spain. Antonio Valencia has been left out of the squad while new signing Diego Dalot has been declared fit after playing 90 Minutes for the under-23 side.
Predicted XI: De Gea, Shaw, Smalling, Bailly, Young, Matic, Fred, Pogba, Rashford, Lukaku, Alexis
BSC Young Boys- Christian Fassnacht
The 24-Year-old Swiss forward has already scored 4 goals this Season that has put his team on top of the table. United cannot take Fassnacht lightly as he is a genuine Goal threat.
Manchester United- Romelu Lukaku
Lukaku has been on a scoring spree. The Belgian has scored 6 goals in his last 5 games for Club and Country and BSC will have to have a few centre-backs marking the Big Rom.
Prediction ( BSC Young 0-2 Manchester United)
Though BSC are in a rich vein of form, Jose Mourinho and Manchester United are too experienced in the Champions League to lose at this level, with no disrespect to the Swiss side.
