The summer transfer window is always the busiest time of the year and this year it is no different. With many clubs having completed most of their signings, some meager some sensational, the next season bears promise to all. Schalke have completed the signing of Hoffenheim striker Mark Uth on a free transfer this summer. The 26-year-old was the joint top-scoring German striker in the Bundesliga last season and will hope to do one better than his 9 league goals.

Bayer Leverkusen have signed Finland international Lukas Hradecky from Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer. The 28-year-old goalkeeper comes as a direct replacement for Bernd Leno who joined Arsenal this summer.

Borussia Monchengladbach have completed the signing of Alassane Plea from Nice for a reported fee of €23 million. The 25-year-old French striker will hope to replicate his form from last season as he netted 16 goals in the French league.

Borussia Dortmund have signed France U21 captain Abdou Diallo from Bundesliga rivals Mainz. The 22-year-old defender who cost them €28 million penned a five-year deal with BVB.

Leon Goretzka has joined Bayern Munich from Schalke on a free transfer. The 23-year-old, who was a part of the German squad who performed miserably in the World Cup this year, will face a lot of competition in the Bayern midfield.
