English international and Manchester City’s goalkeeper Joe Hart makes the move to fellow Premier League club Burnley for 3.5 million pounds. After the purchase of the experienced keeper, Clarets boss Sean Dyche made it clear on what he wanted in the transfer window.

With injuries to Nick Pope and Tom Heaton, Joe Hart would make a start early in the Premier League season with the Clarets. Hart has won over 70 caps for the national side and has made nearly 350 appearances with the City side.

During his time with the Citizens, Hart has won two Premier League titles and an FA Cup amongst others. However, since last season Hart has fallen out with Pep Guardiola, and the Spaniard has made it sure that he does not have a place in the side.

“I was open to anything that came my way and because of circumstances here something popped up,” said the English keeper.

“I feel like I’m in the right place and I feel like this is my time to kick on now,” added Hart to Burnley’s official website after missing out on a World Cup place.

31-year-old has played only one game under Guardiola:

Since Guardiola became the manager of this City side, the 31-year-old has played only one game before moving to Torino in Italy. In the next season, Hart moved to fellow Premier League side West Ham United before making a move to Burnley this season.

Hart should be registered by 23:00 BST on Wednesday in order to be eligible to play in the first leg of Burnley’s Europa League third-round play-off.

City, on the other hand, wished the English keeper all the best for his future and thanked him for his wonderful contribution to the club.

“Joe Hart’s contribution to Manchester City cannot be overstated,” said City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.

“His 12 years at the club have seen him produce some remarkable performances and heart-stopping saves that will live in the memory for a long time to come. concluded Mubarak following Hart’s move.
