Both Liverpool and Chelsea have had fantastic starts to their Premier League campaign and both teams have remained unbeaten throughout the season thus far and they will look to continue their run as they face each other at Anfield. Both the sides, however, will look to make numerous changes as they get ready to face each other again a few days later in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp will be extremely tempted to rotate his squad and shuffle his players during domestic competitions so he can keep them fresh and free from injuries and the headline trio of Firmino, Mane, and Salah look set to make way against the blues to allow other squad members to make an impact. After playing just 45 minutes against Southampton, Swiss international Shaqiri looks set to make his full Liverpool debut against Chelsea on the wing and Belgian international Divock Origi is a likely candidate to partner him on the other flank. The attacking trio will be completed by a reborn Daniel Sturridge who seems to have found his touch after being sent out on loan last season. Meanwhile, Klopp has numerous options in the midfield and looks likely to give a full debut for Brazilian international Fabinho, who is yet to make a mark in a Red shirt. He will be partnered by two of Wijnaldum, Milner, Henderson, and Keita. In the defense, Clyne and Moreno look like they will be playing their first game for Liverpool with Mignolet between the posts and a familiar center-back pairing of Gomez and Matip.
In his last 37 starts (since the start of 2015/16), Daniel Sturridge has 25 goals & 7 assists 😱
The concept that he was “finished” was a myth. Has still contributed with top class numbers when he’s played.
Injuries are his issue. His ability should never have been in question. pic.twitter.com/rIONALBCux

On the other hand, Sarri too will take this opportunity to keep his key players like Kante and Hazard injury free and the pair will most likely not feature. Caballero is set to make his first start for the Blues with Rob Green on the bench while Zappacosta and Palmieri will be direct replacements for Marcus Alonso and Azpi. While Christenson and Cahill will take the place of Rudiger and David Luiz, Ruben Loftus Cheek looks set to pull the strings from midfield, Ampadu and Ross Barkley will be hoping to start against the Reds. Alvaro Morata looks like the one who will be leading the line against Liverpool with Moses and the promising Hudson-Odoi on either flank.
