Chelsea got the better of Liverpool in the midweek Carabao Cup fixture but now they lock horns in the Premier League, where the stakes are definitely higher. Chelsea and Liverpool will field their strongest line-ups unlike the Cup game and both teams will be hoping to improve after an abysmal defensive performance in the Cup. Chelsea certainly has the psychological edge and also have the Home advantage but taking a Full strength Liverpool lightly is something no team in the World can afford to do.

Chelsea- Pedro is a doubt after failing to recover from a Shoulder injury sustained against PAOK in the Europa League last week. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Antonio Rudiger have returned to training but will have to clear a late fitness test in order to be in contention. Andreas Christensen has shaken off a stomach bug and is also available for selection. Olivier Giroud is likely to start ahead of Alvaro Morata, the Spaniard has been very poor in recent games.
Predicted XI: Arrizabalaga, Alonso, Cahill, Luiz, Azpilicueta, Kante, Kovacic, Jorginho, Hazard, Giroud, Willian
Liverpool- Liverpool’s teenage Right-Back sensation, Trent Alexander-Arnold has recovered from an illness and Giorginio Wijnaldum is back in contention (Knock). The big news coming out of Anfield that will probably worry Liverpool fans the most is that Centre-Back Virgil Van Dijk is likely to miss the game with a rib injury and the Dutch defender hasn’t trained all week. A Major blow for the Reds.
Predicted XI: Alisson, Robertson, Matip, Gomez, Alexander-Arnold, Keita, Milner, Wijnaldum, Mane, Firmino, Salah
Chelsea- Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard has now scored six goals against Liverpool across all competitions; more than against any other 'big-six' side.

Hardly a surprise isn’t it? Hazard is Chelsea’s, main man and if the Belgian can reproduce some of that magic from midweek, Chelsea should have a good game.
Liverpool- Roberto Firmino

Firmino makes Liverpool’s front three tick, it’s his movement, communication, and understanding that makes Salah and Mane look good. The Brazilian will be key.
