Gameweek 26 offered an abundance of entertainment to Fantasy Premier League managers. We saw Jurgen Klopp’s leaders return to winning ways with an emphatic 3-0 win over Bournemouth and restore their three-point advantage at the top of the Premier League table. Second-placed Manchester City responded in style, thumping Chelsea 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
Top-four contenders, Arsenal and Manchester United, picked up comfortable wins, while Tottenham Hotspur kept pace with the leaders with yet another impressive victory.
Liverpool’s trip to Manchester United headlines Matchday 27, but there are many other mouth-watering clashes to enjoy, as well. Fantasy Premier League managers are in for an unpredictable Matchday, and this section is all about making their task a little easier.
Here are the top 4 captain picks for Gameweek 27:
4. Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang – Arsenal vs Southampton – £11.1m
The Gabon international hasn’t been at his usual best lately but should enjoy a comfortable run against Southampton this weekend. After a short break, the Gabon international returned to action in Thursday night’s decisive Europa League last-32 win over BATE. He couldn’t get on the scoresheet, but his delivery forced a fourth-minute own goal from Zakhar Volkov at the Emirates Stadium.
No player on the field attempted more shots (6) or shots on target (3) than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Southampton are never an easy side to play against, but their recent form — winless in three games — should give the Gunners plenty of confidence going forward.

3. Paul Pogba – Manchester United vs Liverpool – £8.8m
Manchester United’s most expensive player, Paul Pogba, has been a revelation under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Frenchman has been bossing oppositions from the middle of the park and we expect the trend to continue against Jurgen Klopp’s leaders, as well.
Ole on @PaulPogba: "He's a top player that I've liked ever since I saw him as a kid. He's a World Cup winner, he's a leader in the dressing room and on the pitch, and he wants the ball all the time." #MUFC pic.twitter.com/BoHiGcFHrm

Since the managerial change in December, no midfielder in the Premier League has scored more goals than Pogba (8). The World Cup winner looked at his best against Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal, in all competitions under the Norwegian, and we see no reason why he won’t manage to produce something similar against the Reds on Sunday.
2. Mohamed Salah – Manchester United vs Liverpool – £13.6m
The most expensive player in Fantasy Premier League, Mohamed Salah, has mostly been a safe bet. But on Sunday, banking on him doesn’t seem to be that straightforward. Judging by his ability and decisiveness, his inclusion seems like a no-brainer. However, his record against the Premier League’s big-six — no goals or assists against Tottenham, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and United — is hardly encouraging.
"I know how much United want to win against Liverpool and Everton the same."

The Egypt international, however, is the leading scorer in the Premier League this season with 17 goals and is capable of producing moments of absolute genius. A really tough call, this!
1. Son Heung-min – Burnley vs Spurs – £9.0m
Struck by injuries, Tottenham Hotspur needed some inspiration to maintain their fine run in the Premier League. And despite not being one of the hottest names in the division, the South Korean has stepped up exactly when required.

The dynamic midfielder has delivered a whopping 132 points in FPL, so far, and we expect him to add a few more precious points to his tally by the end of the weekend. Sean Dyche’s Burnley aren’t the most straightforward of teams, but considering the form Tottenham are in — 10 wins in their last 12 league games — it’s safe to bet on the Lilywhites to walk away with all three points.
