Following a week of intense FA Cup and Carabao Cup action the attention, once again, turns to the Premier League, instigating Fantasy Football managers to put the busy festive season behind and start afresh.

The Premier League Gameweek 22 starts with Arsenal’s trip to West Ham at 6:00 PM (12:30 GMT) on Saturday, with the final match of the week, which sees Manchester City take on Wolverhampton Wanderers, set to be played on Tuesday at 1:30 AM.

To help you get the best out of this weekend, here are our ten players to consider for Gameweek 22.

Lucas Digne – Defender – £5.2m – Everton

Yes, the player hasn’t been in the best of forms over the last couple of weeks, but the Frenchman is more than capable of turning this around against Bournemouth, this weekend. The Cherries have only scored twice in their last 4 away trips, making Digne’s selection easier than anticipated.

David Luiz – Defender – £5.9m – Chelsea

The Brazilian defender doesn’t always look the most reliable of options, but he has provided steady returns so far this campaign. In 20 Premier League matches, the former Paris Saint-Germain star has helped the Blues keep 10 clean-sheets, and we believe there’s a strong possibility of another shutout against Newcastle United, this weekend.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Defender – £4.5m – Crystal Palace

Before the 2018/19 season, very few people even knew the name of this determined Crystal Palace defender. But thanks to his stellar and dependable performances, he has emerged as a Fantasy Premier League favorite. Palace have only conceded 1 goal across their last 4 home matches, and we expect them to produce another disciplined display against Watford on Saturday.

Victor Camarasa – Midfielder – £4.6m – Cardiff City

If you are intending on saving a few precious bucks and adding a solid midfield solution to your squad, look no further than this handy little Cardiff City midfielder. Having already secured 64 points, Camarasa is one of our favorite sub-5-million transfers.

Paul Pogba – Midfielder – £8.4m – Manchester United

Since Jose Mourinho’s dismissal, the Manchester United superstar really has upped his game. He’s been a revelation under interim manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer, and we expect the rejuvenation to continue against Tottenham this weekend. He’s a bit pricey, sure, but he’s also probably the most in-form midfielder you can currently buy.

Richarlison – Midfielder – £6.9m – Everton

Another Evertonian on the list and deservedly so. The Brazilian is being considered as one of the breakthrough performers of the season, and we simply cannot disagree. The midfielder has taken the most number of shots from inside the area in the last 4 Gameweeks, with his total of 10 strikes beating Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah tally of 9.

Mohamed Salah – Midfielder – £13.3m – Liverpool

Liverpool’s record-shattering Egyptian wasn’t at his best in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester City, last week, but we expect him to restore normalcy at Brighton on Saturday. He’s the most expensive midfielder in the Fantasy Premier League, but his return of 151 points in 21 matches show just how great of a purchase he can be.

Eden Hazard – Midfielder – £11.1m – Chelsea

Like his Liverpool counterpart, Eden Hazard, too, hasn’t had the best of weeks. He was rendered ineffective in Chelsea 1-0 EFL Cup semi-final defeat at Tottenham and will look to bounce back with a convincing display against Newcastle. Newcastle have conceded 17 goals in 7 fixtures against the Premier League top-six, this season, and we don’t see their tally improving this Saturday.

Having scored 14 goals in 21 Premier League games, the England international has once again emerged as one of the frontrunners for the famed Golden Boot trophy. He has also scored four goals in his last four Premier League appearances and would fancy making it five in five when Manchester United come to town on Sunday.

Marcus Rashford – Forward – £7.3m – Manchester United

Paul Pogba isn’t the only Manchester United player who has been greatly benefitted by Solskjaer’s appointment. The young England international has been in breathtaking form under the Norwegian and has kept the most number of efforts (15) on target over the last 6 Gameweeks.
