The Los rojiblancos, Atletico Madrid has had a bit of an up and down Season, eliminated in the Group stage of the Champions League, Transfer Ban and Griezmann constantly linked with a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano. But Diego Simeone’s men came back stronger and finished the Season as Europa League Champions and now have 9 players heading to Russia.
Spain: Saul Niguez, Koke, and Diego Costa
Saul, Koke and Diego Costa are selected for Spain!

Diego Costa despite having a turbulent start, going AWOL at Chelsea and finally Signing for Atletico in January. The Striker will be key for Spain’s chances. The Midfield duo of Koke and Saul have been consistent for Atletico and would be welcome additions to Spain’s already competent Midfield.
France: Antoine Griezmann and Lucas Hernandez
An Atletico Madrid-infused goal. Lucas Hernandez wins the penalty, Griezmann scores it.

Antoine Griezmann in the France Squad is a no-brainer, The Atletico Target man is Didier Deschamps best player and will be absolutely crucial to France’s chances. Lucas Hernandez has had a breakout season at Atletico and definitely could be a dark horse for the Les Blues.
Uruguay: Diego Godin and Jose Maria Giminez
Diego Godín: Godín serves as Uruguay captain and is one of the key weapons to their aerial game and defensive areas.
Jose Maria Gimenez: Godin’s partner in crime at Atletico Madrid will join him as another CB in the Uruguay squad pic.twitter.com/qoeztKbhdX

The Centre-back pairing played week in and week out for Atletico and will expectedly do the same for the National side.
Brazil: Filipe Luiz
•LEFT BACK-They have arguably the best left back in the world in Marcelo (30yrs) deputised by Atletico’s Filipe Luiz.
•RIGHT BACK-For me this is the one weak spot of the team thanks to Dani Alves ‘s https://t.co/twx3DhjeNg City’s Danilo (26yrs) is first choice RB pic.twitter.com/7URAX14cE9

The Atletico Left-Back is probably the unluckiest player on the list, competing against Marcelo, arguably the best left-back in the world for a spot in the starting XI. Gotta feel for the guy.
Croatia: Sime Vrsaljko
Can I give a shout for RB? Šime Vrsaljko. Totally biased (Croatia!) but he’s really good. https://t.co/1eOT3GDNSt

Vrsaljiko Would be critical on the right flank for Croatia, he’ll have to bring all his experience to the fore at the World Cup.
