What can we say about Cristiano Ronaldo that hasn’t been said before? He’s World-class, to be honest, I don’t even think he’s from this World. The Five-time Ballon d’Or winner has added another feather to his already full cap, Cristiano Ronaldo now has the highest number of Senior International goals by a European player. CR7 equaled Hungarian Legend, Ferenc Puskas at 84 International goals after his heroic hat-trick against Spain and scored his 85th goal against Morocco to claim the top spot.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still 24 goals short of the all-time international record held by Former Iran International Ali Daei who is at 109 goals ( You don’t have to do the Math Cristiano Ronaldo fans, I got you). Daei is the only player to breach the 100 International goal mark, the Irani had a prolific record with Iran’s National team but somehow couldn’t hit the same level of consistency in Club football. He went on to play for 12 clubs in a 19-year long career and scored 157 goals in 287 appearances, a majority of which came in Asian leagues. Ronaldo, on the other hand, has 573 goals in 763 appearances.

Cristiano Ronaldo is 33 Years Old but has the fitness of a 20-year-old. The Portuguese captain has won it all, 5 Ballon D’or’s, 5 UEFA Champions League titles, 4 FIFA Club World Cups and the list goes on and on. A total of 27 titles and 13 major Individual honors has certainly set him on the Global football map and has rightfully been given the World’s Best Footballer tag.

24 Goals till Portugals Greatest of all time can statistically be the Greatest in the world. Ronaldo will only have the World Cup on his mind right now and with 4 points from 2 games, Portugal looks all set to advance to the Round of 16.

Ronaldo may go on to become the Highest International Goal Scorer but irrespective of who holds that record when Ronaldo retires, he was, is and always will be the greatest player of his Generation.
