IPL has entered the 11th Year in Style: IPL was inspired by English Premier League a Franchise Based Football Tournament. Cricket in India is not just a sport its treated as a religion. IPL as an impact on Cricket, Business, and Entertainment. IPL has provided chance for many ‘Second level Cricketers’ from India and abroad, who were unknown faces a stage to put their performance and get instant recognition, money, and fame, we have lots of examples like Ravindra Jadeja, Shaun Marsh, Pandya Brothers, Jasprit Bumrah, Chahal, Raina, Rohit Sharma, Pollard, Steven Smith, Watson etc etc.
IPL is just an amazing experience for the Young Players to share the dressing room with the Cricketing Legends from India and from other countries. In almost two months long journey they get lots of exposure and experience from the Star Players and Star Coaching Legends from different parts of World.
Its just amazing to see International Superstars playing alongside, like Virat Kohli and ABD playing for RCB, Dhoni-Bravo for CSK, Dhawan-Williamson for SRH, Rohit Sharma-Pollard for Mumbai and the list goes on. Its a treat to the Cricketing Fans to see their International Stars playing alongside their rivals and on the contrary, it’s just fascinating to see the Teammates playing against their own so intensely on the field. IPL also gives aging and retired cricketers to show their worth like Adam Gilchrist, Shane Warne, Sourav Ganguly, Sanath Jayasuriya, Jacques Kallis who have enjoyed cricket with IPL after their retirement.
Kudos to IPL, BCCI has become the Powerhouse of World Cricket right now and has a major influence in ICC meetings, the reason we can see Good Stadiums, Good Infrastructures, Good Training facilities to Young Cricketers.
IPL is a gift that keeps on giving, due to which India has become Top Team in the World. India’s amongst the top three in all three formats of Cricket and is the Top Test Team for almost two years now. IPL has given young Players lots of exposure and confidence, earlier days when a player was making his debut it used to take time to get adjusted to the International Level Cricket, pressure & nervousness were common symptoms. IPL players are getting exposure playing in front of Huge Crowds, against quality players. Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal are one of the few gifts of IPL to Indian Cricket.
Indian Bench Strenght is just amazing we have almost set of 25 Players ready to play in any conditions in case of injury to main players. In Batting, we have the Bench Strength power of Shreyas Iyer, Rishab Pant, Samson, Pandey, Karthik, Rahane, Rayudu, Rahul and many more in Limited Overs Cricket. It’s just a healthy competition between the Players to make it to the Playing 11. In Bowling, we have Bumrah, Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, Siddarth Kaul, Umesh Yadav, Shami, Ishant Sharma, Mohit Sharma they can perform at any stage and platform. Now we have the luxury of All-Rounders option available like Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Krunal Pandya, Vijay Shankar, Deepak Hooda, Yusuf Pathan.
Even the second and third string Indian Team is better than many international teams playing around now, this is the influence IPL has had on Indian Cricket.
IPL is such a powerful tournament that even ICC is giving an open window for two months when the tournament is going on, this allows the availability of all the players across the world. We can see the Indian Performance improved overseas, a recent example of Team India dominating Southafrica in ODIs in their own yard.
In short, IPL is a Gift to Indian Cricket, a treat to cricket lovers and an opportunity for good business.
