Sunrisers Hyderabad have one of the most settled squads in the IPL and probably the best thinking tank in the tournament

Sunrisers Hyderabad will have captain David Warner returning to the camp and expect the ‘Orange Army’ to be one of the most competitive teams in IPL 2019.

So Here’s a look at the whole Sunrisers Hyderabad Squad. Players with a * symbol were bought this Season.

Basil Thampi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Hooda, Manish Pandey, T Natarajan, Ricky Bhui, Sandeep Sharma, Siddarth Kaul, Shreevats Goswami (wk), Khaleel Ahmed, Yusuf Pathan, Billy Stanlake, David Warner, Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Shakib Al Hasan, Jonny Bairstow*, Wriddhiman Saha*, Martin Guptill*, Abhishek Sharma*(Traded), Shahbaaz Nadeem*(Traded), Vijay Shankar*(Traded)

Best Bowling attack- Sunrisers Hyderabad, on paper and in theory have the best bowling attack in the league. The team has been known to defend low targets and have a plethora of bowlers, especially their pace attack with the likes of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul and Khaleel Ahmed forming the core. They have Sandeep Sharma, Billy Stanlake, Basil Thampi and T Natarajan serving as able backups. They may lack a little in the spin department but in Rashid Khan, they arguably have the best Leg-Spinner in the world and after acquiring the economical Shahbaaz Nadeem from Delhi Daredevils, the spin department looks pretty impressive as well.

Team Spirit-  Sunrisers Hyderabad are one of the few IPL teams that play as a Unit and seem to have a never say die attitude. Whether it was last year with the absence of David Warner or the 2016 IPL where they had no middle order, they never seem to be deterred by a Challenge and that is their biggest strength. A lot of it boils down to them having the same Management core in Tom Moody, VVS Laxman, and Muthiah Muralidharan. With arguably their most balanced squad in years, SRH are already early favorites to lift the Title.

Lack of Quality Indian Batsman- Sunrisers traded Shikhar Dhawan for three quality domestic players in Vijay Shankar, Abhishek Sharma, and Shahbaz Nadeem. But what they lost is a quality experienced Indian Batsman and now just have Manish Pandey in that position with the Karnataka Batsman not having the best Season with the Hyderabad franchise Last Season. They definitely will be over dependant on David Warner and Kane Williamson to do Majority of the heavy lifting, which may turn out to be a dangerous thing for them.

Probable Playing XI: David Warner, Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey, Wridhiman Saha, Deepak Hooda, Shakib-al-Hassan, Vijay Shankar, Rashid Khan, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul, Khaleel Ahmed
