According to Sky Sports, Jack Grealish is valued by his club at between £30 – £40 million. Tottenham Chairman, Daniel Levy is apparently working on negotiating £20 million deal with The Claret and Blue.
Jack Grealish has scored 9 goals in 92 league appearances for Villa. The 22-year-old made quite an impact for Villa last season as he secured 30 appearances, scoring 3 goals and assisting 6 in the Championship. In the end, Aston Villa lost 1-0 to Fulham in the play-off final at Wembley and missed out on the promotion to the Premier League. Aston Villa have experienced a turbulent few weeks since losing the Championship play-off final, costing them a potential £160 million in future revenue.
Watching Jack Grealish in an #avfc shirt one more time and he's absolutely on a different planet. It's going to be heartbreaking to see him go but he's got the world at his feet and I wish him all the best.

Spurs enjoyed a fine campaign last season, securing a spot in the Champions League yet again. But the transfer business this summer has been hardly pleasing to the fans. They have been linked with a number of players this summer but haven’t completed a signing yet. The addition of a central midfielder seems to be a priority with Moussa Dembele‘s future at the club currently unclear. And Jack Grealish fills the precise role.
Villa’s financial impediments
With Villa’s obligation to recover about £40m to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, selling players would be “inevitable” according to manager Steve Bruce.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Bruce said: “We’re up against it, let’s be open and honest, we might have to make decisions that might not be easy, we have to generate some money. Inevitably that is going to be player sales. There are going to be people that I do not want to sell and the obvious one is Jack, but people will know that we have got financial problems and they’ll sit and wait, and wait, till Deadline Day possibly. I hope that doesn’t happen but we’ve got to batten down the hatches and wait for it.”
In world football, as it is today, a young player like Grealish who has proven to be consistent and hold immense potential could prove to be an excellent addition for Tottenham for £20 million. With a system like Tottenham’s and a manager like Mauricio Pochettino who clearly values youth, Grealish could flourish. This could turn out to be a signing of real importance for the club. Bookmakers Ladbrokes believe that Jack Grealish is the most likely player to join the Spurs this summer, listing him at just 4/7 to swap Villa Park for White Hart Lane.
