Chelsea fans have a chance to see their Captain, Leader, and Legend back at the Club. According to Maurizio Sarri, there is a remote chance to see John Terry return to Chelsea as a Coach. Terry spent the last Season at Aston Villa and captained the Club, almost promoting them to the Premier League. JT as the fans lovingly called him, spent 22 years at the Chelsea, rising from the Youth ranks in the 90s and Captained the Blues from 2004 till 2017 and is the only Premier League Player to captain a side to 5 League Titles.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has admitted that he would be “Very Happy” to have John Terry at the Club as a Coach, before last weekend’s Cardiff City game the Italian said “The last time I have spoken with him, he told me that he wants to play for another season, But I don’t know now the situation. I am talking about a week ago. Chelsea is his home, of course. I’m open to the idea of course. It’s up to him. If he wants to play for another season, I think it’s right that he tries to play. But, if he wants to help us, I’m really very happy.”

Terry came excruciatingly close to leading Aston Villa to Premier League promotion losing to Fulham in the qualification Playoff. Much to Chelsea fans relief who probably wouldn’t be able to bear to see their Legend don another Jersey. The 37-Year-Old has rejected a lucrative move to Russian side Spartak Moscow and the rejection is fueling rumors of retirement and a potential return to Chelsea in the capacity of a Coach.

But in the likely event of Terry being offered a contract from other Clubs who would be lining up for the Englishman’s signature, his return could be delayed. It seems almost inevitable that JT will return to Chelsea, either now or next Season and the fans would be ecstatic!
