Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut for Juventus in the Traditional Annual Pre-Season Friendly between the Juventus A and B teams at Villar Perosa. The Bianconeri’s Senior side expectedly came out on top with a 5-0 Victory over the Youth team, and Ronaldo made his highly anticipated debut after his £99.2 Million move from Real Madrid.

Anticipation to see Ronaldo in the famous Black and White of Juventus was high albeit it was a Friendly. Cars lining up five hours before kick-off is just a testament to the greatness of the Portuguese sensation and his overwhelming presence in this Juve team as a Global brand. Ronaldo opened the scoring for Juventus 8 minutes from Kick-off, the all-time Real Madrid top scorer was sent on goal after a pinpoint through ball from teammate Federico Bernardeschi and he expectedly found the back of the net with a calm and composed finish. The Kind of finish you pay £99.2 Million Pounds for.
Ronaldo also set-up teammate and attacking partner Paulo Dybala who went on to score a brace before half-time. A lot is expected from the two this Season, Dybala was and still is Juve’s most crucial player considering his age and talent. The fans would be hoping the two can complement each other and begin destroying defences when the Serie A Kicks-off next week.

Compliments from the Boss
Juve Manager Massimiliano Allegri was all praise for his Record Signing when he spoke to SkySport Italia “Ronaldo has above all brought experience at international level and acts as extra motivation for the younger lads to aim higher. You don’t win five Ballon d’Or trophies for nothing and you can see how hard he works to get there.”
The officials at the Club conveyed their vision to the Players at the Club and Juve President Andrea Agnelli expressed that the Club’s Objective should be to win everything. Juventus can do exactly that starting by winning their opening Serie A fixture against Chievo Verona on the 18th of August.
