Juventus continued their perfect start to the Serie A season with another win against rivals Napoli with a 3 – 1 scoreline. Cristiano Ronaldo had a hand in all the three goals that the Old Lady scored. Napoli manager had a near perfect start to his trip to his former club when Dries Mertens opened the scoring just after 10 minutes of the game. But his celebration was short lived as Cristiano Ronaldo set up Mario Mandzukic to fire home the equalizer for Juventus within 26 minutes. The game was evenly poised at halftime but the late first-half goal gave Juventus the momentum and they hoped they would continue that after the break.

The momentum was with Juventus after the break as expected and they started where they left off, on the front foot. Just two minutes after halftime, Ronaldo looked all set to score, but his shot came off the post and fell kindly into the path of Mario Mandzukic who slotted home their second goal. Ronaldo certainly had a slow start to his life in Italy but is slowly but steadily coming into his own. He is having a huge impact on the game as he is expected to, being one of the best, if not the best player on the planet.

It went from bad to worse for Napoli when left back Mario Rui was sent off for a second bookable tackle after 58 minutes. Ronaldo then capitalized yet again and set up Bonucci for a third goal. This emphatic win means that Juventus are on course to win the Serie A comfortably yet again if not for a drastic mistake. They are unbeaten as yet and with Ronaldo getting to his best, Juventus look like a team to beat. Ronaldo will not play the next Champions League game due to suspension but will be back for their next Serie A game.
