Real Betis have completed the signing of William Carvalho from Sporting CP for a reported fee of €20 million. The 26-year-old Portugal international has signed a five-year deal with a release clause of €120 million with his new club.

Yuri Berchiche completed a €24 million move to Athletic Bilbao. The 28-year-old defender has penned a four-year deal with the club and now holds a €100m release clause. It seems a surprise coup as the Spaniard had a considerably successful debut season with the Ligue 1 champions as the first choice left-back.
