A helicopter crashed outside the King Poer Stadium in Leicester and the Club confirmed that there were no Survivors.
Leicester City FC owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, 2 members of his staff, another passenger and the Pilot tragically died in a helicopter crash. The Helicopter crashed around 20:30 BST right outside Leicester City’s King Power Stadium on Saturday. According to witnesses, the Helicopter swayed out of Control right outside the Stadium before it crashed forming a “Fireball”. The Club and the City have been in a state of mourning ever since and the Club have made “A Book of condolence” that will be available to the Public from the 30th of October and anyone who wishes to pay their respects is Welcome. The Book will be shared with the Srivaddhanaprabha Family.

The other Four passengers have been identified as, Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare both of whom were staff members of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, Pilot Eric Swaffer and his Co-Pilot (And Wife) Izabela Roza Lechowicz. Reports have revealed that the Pilot, Mr. Eric Swaffer averted a greater tragedy by managing to deviate the out of control Helicopter away from a crowded area to potentially avoid a greater tragedy. Swaffer has been hailed as a hero. Swaffer has over 20 Years of experience in Flying, his wife and Co-worker considered working with her Husband the greatest reward of all “Not many people get to work and travel with their soulmate, traveling the world going to glamorous places.”
Football fans and Pundits all over the World mourned the loss of “Khun Vichai”, at a time where owners have used their Clubs as nothing more than ATM machines for their own selfish gain, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha stood out and was really the most Ideal Chairman and owner a Football Club could have. It was under his ownership that Leicester City won the 2015/16 Premier League with 5,000/1 odds and create History. The Club released a statement saying that their thoughts were “With the Srivaddhanaprabha family and the families of all those on-board at this time of unspeakable loss”.
All the Premier League games on Sunday, Man United vs Everton, Arsenal vs Palace and Burnley vs Chelsea paid their respects before the game with a Moment of Silence. While the Leicester Women vs Manchester United women game was postponed. Leicester have also had their EFL Cup game against Southampton postponed.
Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha bought Leicester City in 2010 for 39 Million Pounds, but his value to the CLub and World Football was and is Priceless. Rest in Peace.
