Yaya Toure has put an end to all speculation after he was spotted in London clearing a medical. But after rumors linking him to West Ham and a few Clubs in the MLS and China, Toure has decided to Sign with his former Club Olympiakos. Toure Spent the 2005/06 Season with the Greek Club, he made 26 appearances for Olympiakos and went on to win the Double with the Club. Yaya Toure was praised immensely by his elder Brother Kolo who had called him “The New Patrick Viera”. Olympiakos announced Toure’s return to the Club on the 2nd of September.
It is an honour to be back at @olympiacos_org ! 😊
When I left in 2006 I said I would come back and I am delighted to keep my word. 🙌🏾

Yaya Toure has turned up for a number of big teams like Monaco, Barcelona, and Olympiakos, but the 4-time African Footballer of the year found true success at Manchester City. He moved from Barcelona to Manchester in 2010 for a reported £24 million and has been arguably the most influential player of the Sheikh Mansour era at Man City. Toure went on to make 316 appearances and scored 79 Goals for the Blue side of Manchester.
Toure was set to leave Manchester City at the end of the Season and the Ivorian seems delighted with the move to Olympiacos “It is an honor to be back at Olympiacos! When I left in 2006 I said I would come back and I am delighted to keep my word. I had offers from lots of clubs across Europe, Asia, and the USA. Ultimately, I made my decision based on the special relationship I have with this incredible club. I am as hungry for success now as I was when I first arrived here many years ago and I cannot wait to help the club win the trophies the great fans of Olympiacos deserve. It is now time to let my football do the talking once again. Let’s do this!”
It would be exciting to see whether Yaya would reach the same level of success with Olympiakos as he did 12 years ago. All the best Legend!
