After a successful night in Switzerland Where Manchester United beat BSC Young 3-0, we now turn our attention back to the Premier League. United host the dangerous Wolverhampton Wanderers who not only had an excellent Transfer Window but also are in top form. Manchester United and Wolves are within close proximity of each other on the points table with United in 8th place while Wolves are just below in 9th Place. Wolves have been in top form in their last three Premier League games beating Burnley, West Ham and also shockingly pulled off a 1-1 Draw against defending Champions Manchester City.

Team News

Manchester United- Marcus Rashford and Nemanja Matic are serving suspensions and will be unavailable for this game. Marouane Fellaini seems likely to start alongside Fred in Midfield while Alexis Sanches should be reinstated in the XI. Jose Mourinho will also be without Ander Herrera (Ankle Injury) and Marcos Rojo (Knee Injury) but there is a slight chance of recovery for English Centre-Back Phil Jones (Thigh Injury) who may just be in contention.

Predicted XI: De Gea, Luke Shaw, Smalling, Lindelof, Valencia, Fellaini, Fred, Pogba, Sanchez, Lukaku, Martial

Wolves- The Wolverhampton Wanderers have no injury concerns for the trip to Old Trafford and Nuno Espírito Santo has his whole squad available.

Predicted XI: Patricio, Doherty, Bennet, Boly, Coady, Jonny, Neves, Jota, Moutinho, Jimenez, Costa

Key Players

Manchester United- Paul Pogba

Pogba was United’s best player against BSC Young, Scoring Two and assisting one Pogba was on fire. Mourinho will be expecting more of the same from the Frenchman.

Wolves- Raul Jimenez

Raul Jimenez has scored 2 Goals for his side in the Premier League and is more than a decent finisher. United’s Centre-Back will have to be wary of him.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Wolves

It Promises to be an exciting encounter with both sides in good form but at Old Trafford, I’ll have to go with Manchester United. I’m also predicting that Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba will find their names on the scoresheet.
