It seems like Jurgen Klopp will be a busy man this transfer window, as he looks to strengthen few aspects of his squad for the new season. if they take the right steps to gain the signatures of a select few who Klopp has targeted, the Liverpool looks like a force to reckon with.
GK: Alisson Becker
The Brazilian “numero-uno” has been heavily linked to the club since the last season. Various sources claim that Liverpool is pulling all stops to land the shot-stopper who Roma are reluctant to sell and demand a hefty fee of €90 million. And by the looks of things, he will be dawning the Liverpool shirt between the post, come next season.
RB: Trent Alexander Arnold
His rise as Liverpool’s first choice right-back has been truly remarkable and if he keeps up his form until next season, Nathaniel Clyne will find it extremely hard to take back what was almost a sure starting spot for him.
CB: Dejan Lovren
The man who was under extreme criticism from the fans and football fans all round the world for his shambolic performances has finally come of age in a red shirt. With terrific performances towards the second half of the season, it looks like Liverpool have finally found the man to partner Van Djik.
CB: Virgil Van Dijk
The most expensive defender in the world seems to have silenced his critics and looks like he’s worth every penny that was spent on him. He made an instant impact on the shambolic Liverpool defence with his excellent leadership abilities and towering presence. He might also take over the captaincy from skipper Jordan Henderson as it seems as though neither he or James Milner will make the cut for the strongest first 11.
He should have looked at the stats before opening his mouth van dijk has been worth every penny turned a questionable defence in to a solid defence and we only conceded 9 premier league goals since he joined

LB: Andy Robertson
After an exceptional first season at Liverpool, he seems to be an absolute bargain. His attacking runs forward and stable defensive displays mean he’s second to none in the Liverpool squad.
the arrival of Fabinho means he will fill the slot that has always been a weak link to Liverpool’s midfield and looks to be a sure starter.
Free Midfield role: Naby Kieta
it seems as though Klopp is starting to shape his squad, Naby Keita will be given a free role in the centre of the park to express himself as freely as possible.
CAM: Nabil Fekir
Liverpool has reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Nabil Fekir as they look to fill the void that was created when Phillipe Coutinho left the club and Fekir seems to be just the right piece in Klopp’s attacking puzzle.

LW: Sadio Mane
it doesn’t seem like Klopp will tweak his front three who was arguably Europe’s best this season, even though he might want to add some backups which are also not that necessary since both Adam Lallana and Oxlade Chamberlin can play those positions. Mane will be expected to continue his form come the new season.
RW: Mohammed Salah
Liverpool’s Egyptian king was undoubtedly the best player for the club and certainly among the best in the world. He would play a vital role in Liverpool’s fortunes for years to come if he remains loyal to the club.
CF: Roberto Firmino
the Red’s main man upfront silenced all the critics who said that the club lacked a 20 goal striker. Though his achievements this year was overshadowed by Salah’s huge success, he will be vital if Liverpool hopes to challenge for trophies next season as he has developed himself into one of the most complete strikers in world football.
