Prithvi Shaw and Indian Wicket Keeper Batsman Rishabh Pant got their rewards for a spectacular performance in the Test series against Windies.
Indian captain Virat Kohli has been the number one Test batsman in the ICC’s latest world ranking, while Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant have made a long jump in the rankings released after the series against West Indies.
Shaw had a memorable debut series. He has reached the 60th spot, up 13 places at the end of playing two innings of 70 and 33 not out in Hyderabad. Prithvi made a century in his debut match and entered the 73rd position in the ranking.
Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has jumped 23 places and he has reached number 62.
