IPL 2019: The Most Promising Teams on papers

The auctions for 2019 IPL were conducted last year on the 18th of December, providing all the team owners with an ample opportunity to reshuffle their team with the best combinations.

However, not all teams managed to do so. Three teams have stood out for the team that they have assembled and here are the best teams on paper for IPL 2019.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

One of the new teams of the tournament, Sunrisers Hyderabad have already made a mark for themselves, owing to their strong and formidable core, which they have retained all the years. However, this year, they chose to sell Shikhar Dhawan for Vijay Shankar, Shahbaz Nadeem, and Abhishek Sharma.

The top order remains unchanged, with the franchise retaining their old favorites- Kane Williamson and David Warner. Manish Pandey, Shakib-al-Hasan, Yusuf Pathan and Deepak Hooda are essential for their middle order, as they almost always ensure to see the match all the way through.

Without a doubt, the Sunrisers Hyderabad seem to have the best bowling attack, with stalwarts such as Billy Stanlake, Khaleel Ahmed, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Siddharth Kaul. However, most importantly, they have Rashid Khan, who has already made a name for himself due to his tough and unpredictable bowling.

Defending champions and forever favorites, the Chennai Super Kings have a smashing team as usual. They have built an insurmountable pass with MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, and Dwayne Bravo.

For the 2019 season, they have retained 22 players and bought in Mohit Sharma, a former player. Their top order consists of the oft-spoken pairing of Ambati Rayudu and Shane Watson. The addition of Lungi Ngidi and Imran Tahir has only served to boost their middle order further.

Mumbai Indians are the only team to win the IPL thrice, apart from Chennai Super Kings. In this season, they have retained quite a number of players of their old team, in addition to bringing back Lasith Malinga. They acquired Quinton De Kock through trade and bought players such as Barinder Sran and Yuvraj Singh.

The top order has Rohit Sharma manning the helm, with the Pandya brothers and Yuvraj Singh in the middle order. The bowling attack will be spearheaded by Jasprit Bumrah. With such an experienced team, Mumbai Indians are sure to be fan favorites this year.
