Chelsea Fans, need to start worrying | Premier League

Chelsea Fans

The Premier League kicks off on the 11th of August, and as of now, Chelsea have no confirmed manager and have made no new signings. Owner, Roman Abramovich has issues with his UK Visa, Chelsea has no Director of Football since Michael Emenalo resigned in November and to top things off they haven’t reached an agreement with Napoli to sign Maurizio Sarri due to a series of complications.

Why has Chelsea not signed Maurizio Sarri yet? – Check out Sarri to Chelsea, is it finally happening?

According to the Daily Star Chelsea could sign Jorginho for a 53 Million Pound fee, as early as Wednesday and according to Premium Sport, they have even agreed a 40 Million Pound fee for Juventus Defender Danielle Rugani. Now if these reports are perceived to be true, Jorginho’s signing could break the deadlock and finalize the deal for Maurizio Sarri. Assuming that everything goes to plan, Chelsea will still have to hurry up.

Firstly, the Transfer Window shuts early this year and no transfers can be made after Matchday 1 which is on the 11th of August. This gives Chelsea approximately one month to finalize transfers of not only incoming but also outgoing players. Furthermore, Maurizio Sarri is a very tactical Manager who likes to instill his philosophy of Football in his players over a long period of time and one month seems a little rushed to do the same.

Even if Chelsea can go on to announce Sarri this week, offloading Antonio Conte will have to be their top priority, having two managers at a Club can be turbulent especially considering how long it’s taking Napoli to let go of Sarri. Antonio Conte has made his mark at West London and to see a man of his caliber go is worrisome, but that’s how the cookie crumbles at Stamford Bridge, doesn’t it?

Here’s hopping Maurizio Sarri can bring something new to the table and can have a better fortune at West London than his predecessors.
