Tottenham Hotspur target a fifth consecutive Premier League Win against Pep Guardiola’s Mighty Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur host Defending Champions Manchester City at the Wembley Stadium in what promises to be a feisty encounter. Manchester City along with Liverpool and Chelsea are the only other unbeaten side in the Premier League and Pep Guardiola would be determined to not throw that record away. Furthermore, if City can go on to take all three points at Wembley they would go top of the Premier League table. Tottenham had a very shaky start to the Premier League but have now seemed to have found that winning formula once again in the Premier League but will still be hoping to get over the disappointing 2-2 Draw against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League. Both sets of Managers will be a tad bit frustrated after being forced to Play on a Wembley Pitch just one day after an NFL game, Here’s to hoping Wembley’s groundsmen to a good job in giving us a perfect pitch.

Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettinho are masterful tacticians and it’s pretty obvious that both Managers will set their players up very well for this game. Expecting a scintillating encounter from these two has become second nature for Football fans.

Team News: Tottenham Hotspur

Key defenders Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose remain sidelined with a Hamstring and groin Injury respectively, Toby Alderweirald and Ben Davies are expected to retain their place in the lineup. Mauricio Pochettinho will be relieved with Dele Alli’s return from a Hamstring injury but the English International may not get a starting spot considering Erik Lamela’s fine form. Spurs will have to be very wary of this all-star Manchester City team.

Predicted XI: Lloris, Davies, Sanchez, Alderweirald, Trippier, Dier, Dembele, Moura, Lamela, Eriksen, Kane

Team News: Manchester City

Pep Guardiola is on top of the World as he claims Manchester City played their Best Football in a  3-0 Win against Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine. In terms of injuries, Ilkay Gundogan is still out with a groin injury, Brazilian full-back Danilo is also out with an ankle problem. Claudio Bravo remains a Long-term absentee for City.

Predicted XI: Ederson, Kompany, Stones, Laporte, Mendy, Fernandinho, Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne, Sane, Aguero, Sterling

Key Players for Tottenham Hotspur: Harry Kane

Harry Kane had a slow start to the Premier League as he tried to recover from a long World Cup campaign. But the English Captain looks more like himself now with 5 Goals and 1 assist. Kane is always key to Tottenham’s success.

Key Players for Manchester City: Sergio Aguero

Aguero is arguably one of the best Foreign strikers to have graced the Premier League. The Argentine has 6 Goals and 2 assists and we won’t be surprised if he finds the back of the net tonight.
