Emre Can given a warm reception at Juventus ahead of his transfer to the Italian Giants
Italian Giants have always swooped in when it matters in the transfer window to sign talented players at ease. They did the same with Dani Alves in 2016, and they will do the same with former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can in 2018.

Emre Can, the 24-year-old German midfielder was a true masterclass during his time at Anfield, with a constant presence on the pitch, be it on the attacking end or the defensive end.
Further, the midfielder has the tendency to score a few belters, while also having the ability to pass the ball across the attacking third. On July 1st, the midfielder’s contract with Liverpool will come to an end as the midfielder will start a new chapter in his life.
When Can refuse to sign a new contract to stay at Anfield, there were certainly rumors that suggested that Turin was the location that Can want to move to, and it is the place that he now moves to for the next four seasons.
The Italian club confirms:
“Juventus will incur additional costs of 16 million euros ($18.5 million), to be paid over the next two financial years,” the Italian club said on their website, though they did not specify how much of that was salary, how much was a signing bonus, and how much a payment to Can’s agent.

While other clubs were reported to have shown an interest, the Italian giants were always leading the chase, with Juventus’ CEO Beppe Marotta claiming back in May that a deal was imminent. There were sparks of rumors flying that the German midfielder is eyed by Barcelona in a free-transfer move, however, the rumor has now been crushed by Juventus.
The midfielder joined Liverpool in the year 2014, after his exploits at the German club Bayer Leverkusen. He would primarily play in central and holding midfield roles while also managing to play at centre of defence for the Reds.
For the Reds this season Can have scored 14 goals in his Liverpool career, with three coming in this year’s Champions League. Juventus are securing a top midfielder for their title defence.
